VRG Transforms Traveler Experience with Six New Dining Locations

New York, NY – June 2025 – Villa Restaurant Group (VRG), a leading multi-brand restaurant operator, is proud to announce the opening of six new dining concepts at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) Terminal 8. The expansion is part of a $125 million commercial redevelopment led by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) Airports, in partnership with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and American Airlines, to reimagine and enhance the traveler experience at Terminal 8.

Starbucks at JFK T8 in C concourse opened in March 2025. It was VRG’s first of six locations to open in Terminal 8.

The six new venues include two Starbucks located by gate 8 and gate 46, a Shake Shack by Gate 10, and a shared space near gates 31-33 where you can find Zaro’s Family Bakery, Dos Toros Taqueria and the debut of Dos Toros Tequila Bar.

Shake Shack opened at the end of April 2025 making it VRG’s second Shake Shack location in an airport setting.

With these additions, Villa Restaurant Group widens its presence as an operator of four Starbucks, two Shake Shack locations, two Dos Toros Taquerias, and the first of its kind Dos Toros Tequila Bar, reinforcing its position as a premier operator of beloved dining brands in high-traffic environments.

With these latest openings, Villa Restaurant Group now operates 41 restaurants across 11 major airports nationwide. This growing portfolio includes a mix of corporate-operated locations, ACDBE partnerships, and other strategic collaborations. Notably, this marks VRG’s 25th location within the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey system.
