USA. Multi-brand food & beverage operator Villa Restaurant Group (VRG) has completed the openings of six new dining concepts at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) Terminal 8.
It takes the VRG portfolio at the New York travel hub to 17 venues.

The latest expansion is part of a US$125 million T8 commercial redevelopment led by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) Airports in partnership with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and American Airlines.
The six new airside venues include two Starbucks and a Shake Shack, plus a shared space featuring Zaro’s Family Bakery, Dos Toros Taqueria and the debut of Dos Toros Tequila Bar.
Villa Restaurant Group CEO Anthony Scotto said, “We are incredibly proud to expand our footprint at JFK Terminal 8 with six new concepts that reflect what today’s travellers are looking for – quality, speed and authentic experiences.

“From morning coffee to bold Mexican flavours and iconic burgers, we’re delivering options that elevate the airport dining experience.”
URW VP JFK Airport Ian Carter commented, “Together with Villa Restaurant Group and our partners, we’re building a destination where great food, retail and design come together to redefine the travel experience.
“These new openings represent a significant milestone in delivering a best-in-class commercial programme at Terminal 8.”
VRG now operates 41 restaurants across 11 major US airports, including 25 within the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey system.
The company noted its growing portfolio includes a mix of corporate-operated locations, ACDBE partnerships and other strategic collaborations.
